Smith Mountain Lake, located in western Virginia, was formed
in the early 1960's at the junction of the Blackwater and Roanoke rivers. This created 500 miles of shoreline and one
of the most tranquil settings found anywhere. Our website is about the State Park on the lake, and the group of volunteers
that support it.
